Vapor Systems Technologies, Inc. Obtains New Approval In Texas For ORVR Compatibility Solution At Gasoline Dispensing Facilities With Gilbarco Vaporvac Stage II Dispensers
Dayton, Ohio – USA – December 9, 2005 – Vapor Systems Technologies, Inc. (VST) has obtained its newest approval from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) for VST’s patented ENVIRO-LOCTM ORVR Solution. This next generation technology is the lowest cost solution for creating compatibility between Onboard Refueling Vapor Recovery system vehicles and Gilbarco VaporVac Stage II vacuum assist gasoline dispensers. The VST solution is in accordance with Title 30 Texas Administrative Code TAC 115.243(2) as applicable to existing or new gasoline dispensing facility installations. Texas legislation requires new site compatibility effect April 2005 with existing site retrofits required by April 2007.
The VST ENVIRO-LOCTM ORVR Solution simply involves the installation of VST’s approved hanging hardware (whip hose, safety breakaway, primary hose, and nozzle). This easy, low-cost approach to making Gilbarco VaporVac dispensers legally compliant in Texas can be done in a matter of minutes without ever shutting down the station during the upgrade process.
VST is also working towards having this technology approved for use on Dresser Wayne WayneVac Stage II vacuum assist gasoline dispensers.
In addition to easy installation, compliance to Texas legislation, and being the lowest cost ORVR compatibility solution, the VST ENVIRO-LOCTM ORVR Solution pays for itself while protecting both air and water from fugitive emission contamination. This technology helps manage underground storage tank (UST) pressures from going positive, thus causing once lost fugitive emissions to become saleable merchandise. Through extensive testing of this technology, VST has created a simple savings calculator that can be used to determine one’s savings by capturing fugitive emission.
VST is accepting orders immediately while preparing for a 2 nd Quarter 2006 product launch. Product availability and manufacturing will be ramped up based on market demands.
